Friday, April 21st Exclusive Peaks will sponsor an Earth Day Compost Education workshop at Gurrie Middle School in La Grange, IL. Students from Gurrie and neighboring Highlands Middle School will have the opportunity to learn about the basics and importance of compost from Rose Naseef, compost educator from S.C.A.R.C.E, a non-profit that inspires through environmental education. Students will begin their composting programs with compost tumblers and verm-composting before prepping our soil for planting.
